We have created classes based on the rosters we received, so thank you for that! Today, we will begin editing the settings in SchoolStatus. We should now see consistent settings, as staff members are connected to students in TeacherEase. If you notice any issues, please let us know!
Since we are in the early stages of testing, please reach out if you have any rostering changes. In the future, this process will be implemented at the building level to avoid bottlenecks.
Currently, we have SchoolStatus and IXL connected. For example, Cambria Robinson can now track her students' progress in IXL and message all of her students through SchoolStatus.

Good afternoon, everyone!
We had a productive morning connecting with many of you, and now that TechFest has wrapped up, KateLynn and I are excited to tackle an important project.
All the data we use to link to SchoolStatus, IXL, and our other EdTech tools depend on TeacherEase classes. We've discovered that several of you don’t yet have a class in TeacherEase. Although TeacherEase is managed at the building level, we’re committed to ensuring you can access these tools just like your fellow teachers.
Here's our action plan to make this happen:
- Create a course in TeacherEase - Completed!
- Establish classes for our EL and SLP groups as our first testing groups - Currently in progress.
- Add students to these classes - Currently in progress.
- Map the rules in Clever to our applications, starting with SchoolStatus and then expanding further.
If this trial proves successful for our SLP and EL teams, we will move forward to include all instructors who currently don’t have classes in TeacherEase.
Please send rosters or questions our way!
